Support Jessica Sferrazza for Lieutenant Governor
My name is Jessica Sferrazza and I am running for lieutenant governor because we
need to turn Nevada’s economy around. With record unemployment and the highest foreclosure
rate in the country we can’t sit on our hands any longer. We need to diversify our
economy and bring new jobs to Nevada…now!
I am proud of my record of progressive achievement as a member of the Reno
City Council. We have been at the forefront of economic diversification and alternative
energy initiatives. We have made great strides in equal rights, protecting the environment,
creating jobs and protecting neighborhoods.
The office of lieutenant governor is a natural extension of my public service. My
highest priorities are reflective of the mission of the office – diversifying and
stabilizing the state’s economy while promoting tourism. I will bring my proven
experience and work ethic to the job and I am fully prepared to hit the ground running.
Throughout my time in public service, I have been recognized for my ability to get
things done. I am honored to have received the Bristlecone Family Resource Center
“Jon Benedetti” Award and the NAACP “Community Service” Award for my efforts to
make life better for all of my constituents.
I was presented with the “Scenic Hero” Award for my efforts to control the spread
of unsightly billboards. And, I was recently elected president of the Nevada League
of Cities by my colleagues from across the state.
But, I cannot be successful in my campaign without the support of my fellow Nevadans.
